Fluoride is a dangerous neurotoxin. Arsenic, lead, and mercury are similarly dangerous neurotoxins; the difference is, we wouldn’t readily feed those neurotoxins to our children. However, when it come to fluoride, many of us do it all the time.

The dental industry has a long history of pushing fluoride on us as a way to “prevent cavities.” However, there isn’t much in the way of proof that this works. Since 2006, epidemiological studies have documented six additional developmental neurotoxicants—manganese, fluoride, chlorpyrifos, dichlorodiphenyltrichloroethane, tetrachloroethylene, and the polybrominated diphenyl ethers.

Despite all of the research showing fluoride to be either dangerous or unnecessary, most of our water is tainted with the neurotoxin. And that means most of us, our children especially, are poisoned, for lack of a better term. After learning of fluoride’s dangerous side effects on children, including reduced intelligence, many parents begin researching how to detoxify their children from the substance.

So then how can you help detoxify a body riddled with fluoride? Here are a few easy steps you can take.

Start with iodine. Iodine will help push fluoride out of the body via urine. Potatoes, Cranberries, and navy beans are all good sources of iodine. Here is a full list.

Eat Boron. Boron is found in prunes, honey, broccoli, and many nuts. It will also help push fluoride from the body.

Tamarind is an African fruit that is said to help cleanse the body of neurotoxins such as fluoride.

Ingest more magnesium and calcium. Magnesium deficiency in the western world is incredibly common. Magnesium is essential to the metabolic rate of the body. Combined with calcium, they tend to push fluoride away.
