The community of Wellington, Florida already has a fluoride-free water supply, but unfortunately, pro-fluoride backers have stepped back on to the scene to push a new bill which would re add fluoride back into the community. According to the Palm Beach Post, those in favor of contaminating the water and those not in favor of contamination are divided.
The village council will be talking about whether to add fluoride back into the water — a topic that has the community largely divided. Fluoride has proven to be good in preventing cavities and strengthening teeth, but some groups have opposed it saying it has other unintended consequences.
Everyone who shows up will have three minutes to speak if they wish to give council their thoughts. Anyone with a strong opinion who can’t make it is asked to send in their thoughts before the meeting.
