Fans who showed up to attend the NFC showdown between the 1st place Dallas Cowboys and their division rivals, New York Giants, got a whole lot more than they bargained for. The Meadowlands in New York became filled with a nasty smoke shortly after the Giants players ran onto the field. The smoke was so heavy fans had trouble viewing the game from the upper-deck.
But worse more, what the heck were they breathing?
The Giants explained the issue as being that of fireworks being set off, but games commonly set off fireworks. Look at the gas filling the stadium below.

Phone doesn't do it justice, but the smoke the Giants shot off when the players ran out of the tunnel is leaving a big haze over the field. pic.twitter.com/OmL6gk1dLs

Fans were bewildered by the site of it. I’m not sure I’d want my family breathing in these gases even if they were, as explained, from fireworks.
