ADORABLE Baby With Rare Disorder Sees Mommy For First Time

A baby seeing his mommy for the first time is simply owning the Internet this weekend. All too often, we tend to focus on negative things, but if we just take the time to look around, we find beauty (and cuteness). What we have here is the very definition of cute inspiration. Prepare to get the warm and fuzzies; I know that I did.

In the video, baby Leo waits for his mom to pull down some new spectacles intended to give him vision for the first time. Leo has a rare disorder called¬†Oculocutaneous Albinism (OCA). It affects a number of things (see his mom’s post below), but most notably his vision. Baby Leo’s grin when he first realizes he can see, well….priceless my friends.

Our son Leopold was recently diagnosed with a rare disorder called Oculocutaneous Albinism (OCA). This affects the coloring of his skin, hair, and eyes and leaves him with extremely impaired vision. But today he received his glasses….and can now see the world clearly for the very first time.
