ABC News produced a segment on the fallout between Robert De Niro, TriBeca Film Festival and the documentary, Vaxxed: From Cover-Up to Conspiracy. Producer Del Bigtree is included in the ABC segment, but only for about 20 seconds. Del, using his cell phone, released the remainder of the interview, which is over 10 minutes in length.
ABC News intentionally cut out 99% of this interview to assure that the segment remains favorable to pro-pharma initiatives. This is a blatant disservice to the journalism code of ethics (not that we should be surprised in the least). However, knowing such doesn’t make it sting any less for the rest of us.
I want to comment further on this segment by saying that this isn’t about the anti-vaccination movement. Instead, this is about the connection between media and corporate advertising dollars, as well as cronyism. The media is an arm of the pharmaceutical companies. This is dangerous as well as criminal. You can be pro-vaccine and still be uncomfortable with major news agencies presenting news stories in biased, self-serving perspectives. This is our direct line to fascist takeovers.
First, TriBeca censors the documentary even after stating that its perspective should be viewed, and now ABC News is censoring interviews as a way to conceal facts over the matter. That’s the world we now live in. Again, that’s nothing to do with vaccinations and everything to do with your personal liberty.
